Who do you send it to?
Sending a portfolio to a government institution is very different from sending it to a children’s entertainment agency. You must know the company or client with whom you want to work and highlight among your work what is most attractive to them, give them that exclusivity. It will be effective for both of you!
If you do not have material that fits the market where you are going to apply, it would be good if you add something self-taught and complement your experience in that way.
Let’s be clear: the goal of a portfolio is to show what you know how to do. So don’t saturate it with redundant information and details of your countless abilities, let your material speak for itself.
