“The year 2020 has been a year of unknowns and uncertainties. To capture the emotions experienced during this unprecedented time, Canon EMEA asked a selection of photographers from its Ambassador Program to share a unique image that represented what 2020 made them feel and how they felt.“This is how it is presented. ‘See How We Feel‘, a project that encompasses different photographic genres and has been carried out by “19 internationally renowned photographers“.
Through the looks of photographers like Clement kiragu, commercial and wildlife photographer, Guide Besana, specialized in portraiture, and Muhammed muheisen, two Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist, “we can see a multitude of emotions […] Faced with difficult and challenging circumstances, the sense of humanity and hope that these images convey is clear“.
“From the resilience to the adversity shown by the bride and groom in their micro-wedding, to the feeling of reflective loneliness of the person sitting in front of the historic place of Mada’in Saleh, during these difficult times, and the affection shown by a caregiver who, confined with them , aims to minimize the chances of transmitting the virus to the elderly of a residence“.
Each of the photographs represents a feeling and try to catch “the emotional impact of this dismal 2020, a unique year in images“, portrayed through a project that”Not only does it document what we have seen, but it highlights the roller coaster of emotions experienced around the world in this turbulent year.“which, fortunately, is already ending and whose images will remain for the memory.
