You thought that to increase the contrast of a slightly bland photo you just had to play with the contrast slider? Think again! This video will teach you how to use the levels in photography, a much more subtle tool to play on the contrast of an image.

Before you look avidly at this video, I invite you to read the article on the histogram if you haven’t already done so, because it is indispensable to the understanding of this tutorial.
