The Big Problem With Godox

The problem, three of them in fact, is in the modifiers they make, in the inconsistent branding as well as lack of good customer support. Godox modifiers are very low quality. The hard reflectors don’t output nearly as much light as a Broncolor or a Profoto would.

Then, What is Canon Speedlite used for? Lighting objects from the side is a great way to highlight texture, add drama, and cast interesting shadows. One can employ off-camera flash by simply holding the flash at arm’s length to one side or above. With multiple Speedlites, photographers can create studio-like portraits with hair, edge, main, and fill light.

Is Neewer a Godox? While some Neewer flashes are rebranded Godoxes, not every Neewer flash is a rebranded Godox. And not everything with the Neewer brand on it is made by Godox.

Keeping this in view, Where is Godox manufactured? Godox is made in China, and sold under a few different brand names (and is exactly the same – only the name and printed branding is changed): Godox is also branded and marketed as Flashpoint EXPLOR, Flashpoint, eVOLV, WISTRO, AD as in the AD200, and you’ll see the speedlights referred to as V or TT.

Where is Godox based?

Our headquarters and manufacturing center are located in Shenzhen, China.

How do you use a speedlite? The easiest way to use your speedlight is to aim it directly at your subject. The result is a decently lit subject, similar to the type of photo that a built-in pop up flash would produce. Notice how that colors pop more and the mask is more evenly lit compared to the photo shot in ambient light.

Are Neewer any good? Neewer Video Lights Review Summary

The Neewer 5600K is a great lighting option. While the set-up does not come with a carrying case or a USB power supply, we had an overall excellent experience with these lights. They are agile, inexpensive, and neatly bonded.

Will Godox work with Neewer?

Your Godox trigger will not sync with your Neewer strobe since there is no receiver built in. You could buy a Godox X1-R receiver for $40 (US), which is compatible with your X1-T, and plug it into your strobe with a sync cable.

Are Godox a good brand for flashes?

Re: Godox flash any good? They are great. Flashpoint is the Adorama brand of the exact same flash, and they are good to buy from.

Are Profoto lights worth? It worked everywhere without problems and with amazing flexibility. Sure, it was very expensive, but it was worth it. Working on location with the Profoto system turned out to be so much easier than a speedlite.

Which is better TTL or manual flash? Using TTL automatically adjusts the flash output for you as the distance between you and the camera changes.
