Is Canon 70-200 f4 worth it? The 70-200 f4 IS is an excellent lens. Just used it on Sunday taking photos with 7D Mk2, at fire brigade waterways. Majority of 280 photos at 4.0. -6.3, shutter 400-500, focal length 110-320mm, Iso 100-500.

Is f4 lens enough? f/4 is not considered a fast lens. Since you shoot indoors, and low light, the 2.8 lens is a better choice for you. If you have top ISO performing DSLR, so f/4 could be good enough for you.
