How is lomography different?

As a unique form of photography, lomography lets you try out new styles and become more creative with your images. It’s both an analog camera movement and a community facilitated by The Lomographic Society International. This movement motivates practitioners to be imaginative and play around with their shots.

What film does lomography use? 35 mm Film

There are color negative, black & white, redscale and slide films to choose from. This film comes with a unique chemical formula specifically developed in our Lomography film manufactory which desaturates colors mutes tones and makes contrasts pop.

Accordingly, Is 110 film still available? Fujifilm stopped manufacturing 110 format film in September 2009. Lomography re-commenced 110 film production in 2011. As of mid-2021, they offer 110 Black and White, Color Negative, and Color Slide (Peacock) films, among others.

Is lomography film good? Lomography Lomo 400 – Film Review. An inexpensive color negative film that has good exposure latitude, strong contrast, and rich color. Its 400iso makes it very versatile and the grain is noticeable but pleasant looking. It’s a great film for point-n-shoots and everyday shooting.

Can you use regular film in a Lomography camera? If it’s a 35mm Lomo then yes. The LC-A, Horizon, etc are all 35mm cameras that take standard 135 film cassettes. The medium format models such as the Lubitel, DIana, etc are all designed to take 120 spools which are a different size and have a different winding system.

Who makes Lomo?

With Lomography Color Negative 100, you should know that Kodak makes the film for the company. It’s an alternative film from much of the more professional emulsions out there. But it also looks really nice in both 35mm and 120.
