How can I protect my camera without a camera bag?

If you don’t have a camera bag but want a safe way of taking your camera on a plane, I’d recommend going with a camera cube. This will allow you to snugly store your camera equipment inside a standard backpack and will keep your gear secure without sacrificing much in terms of safety.

How do you carry your camera everywhere? Follow a simple rule: your camera is always attached to your body, whether it’s with a strap or in a bag. Don’t let yourself use your camera without a strap (something a lot of photographers are guilty of) and you’re almost guaranteed not to drop it.

Can I wash camera bag? Regularly wipe the outside and vacuum the inside of your camera bag. Brush away the dirt on the outside of your bag with a cloth. Use soapy water and clean warm water to give your bag a deep clean. Remember to clean the zippers and trim any loose threads to keep your bag in good condition.

How do you clean a leather camera case? Mix a small amount of a mild, natural soap (something like a gentle Castile soap works well) with a half cup of water unless it becomes slightly foamy. Wipe your leather camera strap down with a cotton cloth to remove any excess dirt. Allow your strap to fully air dry.
