Does Panasonic make their own sensors?

Today, sensors for both Panasonic and OMDS (former Olympus) cameras are designed and made to order by Sony. Sony also makes off the shelf FT sensors for surveillance cameras and industrial cameras, but these are not the same as used for our cameras.
