Does DxO PhotoLab include pure raw?

DXO Pure Raw uses a restricted set of tools from DXO-Photolab Elite, so you can do everything that Pure Raw can do, plus much more. DXO-Photolab Elite even has a built in preset which gives you a simple select photos, apply preset and export to DNG.

Does DxO PhotoLab have layers?

PhotoLab does not have the concept of a “layer” (which, of itself, implies a prescribed order of things). The term “mask” in PL refers to an area to which local adjustment setting(s) can be applied.
