Do Z lenses have VR?

Where are Nikon Z lenses made?

Nikon has been manufacturing many of its Z lenses in Thailand since the Z system launched, including the recent Nikkor Z 70-200mm f/2.8 S VR lens. I Field Tested that lens, and it’s an excellent professional zoom lens. The Nikon Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S lens, also made in Thailand, is similarly fantastic.

Why are Nikkor Z lenses so expensive? The technology of the optics is superior and for its size very light weight but the construction uses a lot of plastic. Expensive lenses are expensive because they are well constructed, made to last professional use for years, and deliver the very best optically. I used Nikon at work for many years.

Can I use my old lenses on Nikon Z?

All of these F-mount NIKKOR lenses are fully compatible with the Z series digital cameras when used with the Mount Adapter FTZ. Approx. 360 F-mount lenses in total can be used.
