Snapfish review: Verdict

The printed book, calendar and card were average to slightly above average quality. You won’t be disappointed with a photo book, card, or calendar from Snapfish, but for similar prices, Mixbook or Printique have far more versatile and powerful software and top-notch print quality.

Similarly, Is Mpix safe? Mpix review: Verdict

Mpix is a generally good, but not great print service. The software has severe limitations, photo quality is just so-so, and the printed products are nothing special. If you’re going to go to the trouble of creating a book, calendar or card, you deserve to have something that’s more than average.

Which is better Shutterfly or Snapfish? It is difficult to find any discernible differences in the print quality between Snapfish and Shutterfly. Both vendors offer a moderate quality of prints for the price that you pay. In online reviews, Shutterfly enjoys the slight edge when it comes to customer satisfaction with the clarity and crispness of the prints.

Beside above, Which is better Snapfish or photobox? PB has better flexibility on website and nice ‘snapshot’ quality prints and quick delivery. SF has more absolute detail but quality (on sample of 1 order) poor with one torn print and one with strange dark artifacts on.

Does Snapfish own my photos?

Ownership. You retain ownership of your Content and any rights granted to Snapfish are granted as a license.

Is Shutterfly as good as Mpix? Without a doubt, Mpix wins the paper challenge. Each print feels heavier and I love the matte finish. I would prefer to compare matte Shutterfly prints to see if there is any improvement in the paper, unfortunately glossy was the standard the promotion came with.

Is Mpix still in business? MpixPro has been permanently shut down as of June 1, 2020. While you can no longer place orders through MpixPro, you may still access your order history and sales history. Moving forward, we believe you will be better served through our Miller’s and Mpix brands. Find out more information about each below.

Is mixbook good? You won’t go wrong with Mixbook. It has great software, reasonable prices, and produced a lovely book, calendar and card. However, Printique edged Mixbook out for the top prize as the best overall online print service. We recommend checking both company’s prices and styles before choosing the one you’ll use.

Is there anything better than Shutterfly?

We recommend going with Amazon prints if you’re on a budget, or pay a little more for the superior print quality of Shutterfly.

Does Amazon own Snapfish? It’s “common knowledge within the industry but not to consumers” that Amazon partnered with Snapfish on its Prints service, one industry source tells PetaPixel. Back in 2015, Snapfish was sold by Hewlett-Packard to the photo printing company District Photo, which has offered private label fulfillment for over 65 years.
