Are hard shells good for MacBook?

Well it’s not good for them. Computers with hard cases on the display do but extra strain on the hinges and at times those hinges will wear out and become looser as a result. It’s one of the reasons why I am not a fan of hard cases. I would say probably less than 10% end up with issues.
