I’ve introduced you to the new software we’re going to be working with: RawTherapee. Let’s take a closer look at what’s going on in the tab exhibition.
And yes, working on an image exposure is one of the first things that we do in development. So I’ve devoted an entire video to detailing RawTherapee’s functions regarding this aspect of development. You will discover the functions that allow you to :
- modify theexhibition of the image (make it lighter or darker)
- retrieve slightly over- or under-exposed areas
- give relief to your image using local contrast
- provide more contrast thanks to the curves
- work the areas ofshadows or from high light without altering the overall image contrast
(If you see badly, remember to put the video in full screen and click on “HD”)
I hope you understand: do not hesitate to ask your questions below! 😉 Of course, there are other videos to show you some cases practices image development, and the usefulness of these functions in “real life” situations. But patienceYou have to be familiar with the software first! If you would like to be informed about these upcoming videos and many other things, consider subscribing to the newsletter (right)!
