Has Nikon abandoned F mount?
It won’t be long now until they res die off and Nikon officially announces that they’ve abandoned the F mount. Personally, I’m happy that the DSLR’s demise is finally now upon us.
Is the Nikon D500 being replaced? The Nikon D500 is officially discontinued. After it was spotted as being out of stock, on backorder or whatever, with Nikon Singapore even having “discontinued” in the URL of their page for the Nikon D500, there hadn’t yet been any word from Nikon HQ in Japan.
Is Nikon Z6 discontinued? The Nikon Z6 II + FTZ and Nikon Z7 II +FTZ kits are also listed as discontinued. The Nikon FTZ is on backorder at Adorama and is currently in stock at Amazon in case you need the integrated tripod mount that is not present in the new FTZ II version.
Is F-mount discontinued? Nikon is slowly discontinuing Nikkor F-mount lenses and many products are still out of stock.
